Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13 January, 1981) is an American actor. In 2000, he started his career in acting by appearing in TV series such as Opposite Sexual. After starring in various teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he gained acclaim for portraying the Marvel Comics characters, including the Human Torch. Evans played in various film adaptations based on comics and graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Evans gained more attention for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The work he did on the Marvel series established him as one of the highest paid actors.
