MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry is influenced through his worldwide impact. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN came out through La Industria Inc., located in Medellin, a Sony distribution firm. It peaked at 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. Following that year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca, an album that was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he debuted his charting sophomore album Dopamina and collaborated on Mala Influencia together with Noriel. In 2021, he performed as a duo TINI for her stream single Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo is a product of a household of music the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory aspect of his daily life. As a child, he was taught how to play the piano, saxophone and guitar. Though his original goal was becoming a veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from the famous Cuban.
