Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. When she was a kid, she listened to many traditional music as well as older Boleros. She also listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as drama and opera. At the age 16, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. After moving to the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. The singer currently sings the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. In addition to being a local performer and instructor, her love of music and art keeps her involved in a range of initiatives. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
