 Julianne Moore, an American-British actor is worth $55 million. She came into prominence in the early 1990s, and is especially known for her portrayals of emotionally distressed women. In the year 2020, The New York Times placed her at the top of its listing of the 25 Greatest actors of the 21st Century.Julianne Moore was born the 3rd of December, 1960 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She was raised in a family of soldiers, the oldest of three siblings and daughter of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper with the U.S. Army, and mother Anne Moore, a Scottish psychologist and social worker from Greenock, Scotland, who moved into the U.S. in 1951. Moore was often moved by her father due to his occupation. She lived in Alabama, Texas Texas, Georgia and Nebraska. Moore attended nine schools, and she says that the constant moving made her insecure, which resulted in her having to make friends. Moore moved with her family from Virginia to Frankfurt West Germany when she was just 16 years old. Moore had always wanted to become a doctor but she never considered performing or joining a theater. She was introduced to plays because of her love for reading and was part of several plays at her high school that included "Tartuffe and Medea." Moore's English teacher advised her to study acting following the performance.
